The citizens of Indianola continue to be done a great disservice.
For a year and a half, the Attorney General’s office has failed to effectively prosecute and resolve its civil demands against former Aldermen Ruben Woods, Marvin Elder and Sam Brock.

Delta Missions’ Black History Program

Delta Missions celebrated Black History Month last Wednesday, and it was a beautiful program. We celebrated with certain members playing certain parts. Our theme was “Honoring the Past and Inspiring the Future.” Mrs. Karen Blumenberg read a story with eight participants, and all we had to do was move from right to left when told to do so.

I am writing this letter to the constituents and to the editor. My thoughts are that if you don’t correct a problem, the problem will continue to grow and eventually eat away at what is meaningful and important to you. Sunflower County is very important to me and my constituents, and I don’t want or expect it to fail on my watch.
