The Division III State Soccer Playoffs have begun and the District 1 champion Indianola Academy Lady Colonels are on the hunt for another state championship.
Following Tuesday’s 5-2 opening game victory over visiting Kirk Academy of Grenada, action continues today when the 10-3 Lady Colonels host Starkville Academy at 3 p.m.

Forced to put last Friday’s 38-0 Region 4-3A road loss to Greenwood High School behind them, the Gentry High Rams will now attempt to contribute a football victory to this week’s Homecoming celebration at their home field.
