Clementine Williams and Frank Cade are the first inductees into the Ram Hall of Fame.
They were chosen partly because they were both members of the first graduating class of Gentry High in the 1950s, as well as members of the school’s first athletic teams.
The late, immeasurably great Boo Ferriss could have become a Major League manager had he chosen that path. With his people skills and his baseball acumen, he surely would have been a splendid one.

For the Gentry High School basketball teams, a small dose of post-Thanksgiving Day action begins Saturday as the Rams and the Lady Rams host Clarksdale in a non-regional clash.
The Rams then take a few days off until a Dec. 2 match-up against Ruleville Central.
