Going strong at 100

At 100 years old, George Logan says he’s feeling “fine, fine, fine.” The retired railroad man celebrated his century mark on Wednesday, April 12. Born in 1917, Logan marked the grand occasion with a celebration surrounded by family and friends.

Sunflower County Chancery Clerk Gloria McIntosh presents Harvey Jackson, director of the Gentry High School choirs, with a certificate April 12 recognizing the choirs’ three “first-place golds” at the Atlanta Choral Festival.
